It has been a long while since I created a [k]NOW thy SELF Mind Map. I have certainly changed since the last one. I’ve moved to a new town, taken on new responsibilities, and let go of some old ones. So, who have I become from all these changes?
This time, I am creating a [k]NOW thy SELF template that others can fill in to ponder and intuit their spheres of influence. Below is the story of this Mind Map's creation, along with my personal self-study of the maxim: [k]NOW thy SELF.

I listened to a few playlists while drawing this Mind Map… here is the collection of songs that stood out…
The way to [k]NOW one's Self is to observe, and the process centers around language—the meaning and definition we supply to our words, thoughts, actions, and beliefs.
The best way I know to perform this activity is to write. Otherwise, the times we are in move so fast, with so many distractions, it becomes hard to maintain continuity between our innermost thoughts. They just become fleeting personal judgments and opinions about what is right or wrong with our lives and the world. Writing helps remind my self, what is truly important.
"Man kNOW thy SELF; then thou shalt know the universe and god." ~Pythagoras
I see two options: One is to let the conditions of society sweep me away into what I am supposed to be based on history and the past. The other is to write down these observations, experiment with the insights, and remind myself of the exploration I am on to live a purposeful life.
Starting with the maxim: Know thy Self as my purpose, I explore the 6 [k]NOW thy SELF Outer Spheres: Body, Chakra, Mind, Divination, Numerology, Astrology. These complement the inner seed words:
Ground - Body
Intend - Chakras
Observe - Mind
Connect - Relationships
Express - Numerology
Refine - Astrology
I always make notes about these aspects so I can find information about myself and my experience of life.
This time I used the message of each Outer Sphere to create a symbol or representation of the information that goes in this branch or axis of the geometry.
Here I am beginning with the Ground Sphere and have created a BODY to represent the Body Sphere. Once I complete the mind map, I will return to fill in the details of the inner Ground Sphere.
Ground Sphere
The Body.
How well is my body performing?
What can I do to help it be more efficient?
Are there things I am ignoring about my body because I have a judgment, preference, or opinion about it? What is that telling me?
Do I appreciate my body, its organs, and all it’s gone through in my life?
I'll use these ponderings to come up with an Inquiry QUESTionaire to help you fill in your inner sphere.
You can download this template now that it is complete.
Intend Sphere
Chakra or Energy Center
Where do I feel strengths and weaknesses in the energy centers or chakras of my field?
Are there any chakras over or under active that need attention?
Do I need to incorporate a certain color food, clothes, or decor to feel more at balance?
I use this sphere to select one of the 7 Main Chakras to focus on for this next leg of my Fool’s Journey to become my own hero. When it's time for me to fill in this template, I'll intuit a chakra to focus on for this next phase of my life.
The geometry is coined a Vector Equilibrium by my muse Buckminster Fuller. This is a pattern I draw and doodle often... more on that in the coming cycles...
Express & Refine Sphere
Numerology & Astrology
It could be any astrological aspect or sign, house, planet, but the Sun Sign is what came forward for me to explore. It seems like the most overarching aspect of astrology—the center of our solar system, the world, or rather our sense of self in it.
One Way holds a few different details for me. What stood out is that our universe spins one way. There is no actual retrograde, yet the one-way direction creates a spiral, sort of a yin-yang duality representing two ways as one way.
I’m no astronomer or astrologer, but I love the information gathered from my birth chart—my Soul Shine—giving me glimpses or feelings of where I am in the hero’s journey.
So I am a researcher, documenting little tidbits of information like tools for the hero on their journey, observing and seeking the next sign.
Observe Sphere
The Mind
What are my current preferences, opinions, and judgments about myself, others, and the environment?
What are my thoughts about today’s current affairs, where we’ve been, and where we’re going collectively?
One thing my Quantum MeMoir has afforded me is to practice observing my mental chatter, actions, and results with less and less blame and more accountability.
I practice objectivity to become better at it, expanding my awareness to include compassion and empathy for all things, not just for what I “approve” of, but all of it, as objectively as possible. Knowing the more I know, the less I know.
Connect Sphere
Relationships
Which brings me to the final sphere: Connect. To appreciate others, it doesn't matter if it is fictitious or real, animate or inanimate, what matters is my relationship with it. This will tell me a whole lot, another piece of the ever-changing puzzle that my persona executes in this reality.
For this Know Thy Self template, I am making it more about the quality of the relationship to "other" than appreciation for it. Although I can certainly appreciate the wisdom I have gained from poor relationships, I suppose in that way, they were quite valuable relationships—a lot of lessons gained.
This relationship with "other" creates a cause, so does my interpretations or thoughts about it. Energetically it is either an increase or decrease in my momentum or flow through life. Depending on if something is worth the result, I can choose appropriately how I want to proceed.
Here is the completed template with a questionnaire.
Download and print it out to study yourself, or try it on a digital device with an app like GoodNotes.
In Conclusion
In addition to creating Mind Maps, I now offer art, a structured practice, and tutoring to help others achieve the same alignment and purpose in their lives. Through my Quantum MeMoir method, I assist individuals in integrating their knowledge into wisdom, finding their purpose, and navigating the seasons of their lives with clarity and confidence.

Starting with the blank templates, I gather my personal information for the mind map. Since I have been doing this for years, it comes naturally to me. However, if you need assistance in filling in the spheres, I have created a QUESTIONnaire based on my approach to using the Mind Map.
The Downloadable Templates comes with the Mind Map, Visual Note Page, Inquiry QUESTionaire and Blank Asterisk Grid Note Page.
Download the Template Below...
After coming up with the questions, I filled in my answers and wrote the most important information in the spheres of my mind map. With this information, I have a broad perspective of who I have been and what I want and don't want to continue. It's like a snapshot of my current thoughts about myself.
After doing these for a few years, you'll have a beautiful collection of your self-explorations—a wonderful addition to your Quantum MeMoir.
Now Watch as I transform my personal written messages from the inner spheres of the template... into additional symbology for the original sketch...
In the Original Artwork you will see the faint lines of the flower of life pattern used to place and highlight the Fruit of Life Pattern in this Mind Map.

Now for the Inner Spheres
These are my answers or symbols for my know thy self mind map
This instagram Reel… tells the story of the pawn…
While the Connect sphere relates to my relationship with others—like food and beverage, people and places—I always regard the "others" as something we consume, such as watching TV or shopping.
It is natural for me to think of a fork for the Body Sphere of the Mind Map. I am what I consume; I am what I eat, so to speak. As I define who I have become in life, specifically relating to the body and its care, I have gained much wisdom on how to get my body to perform well. The challenge in this game is the distractions and temptations of "others" that can lead to a deficit in how my body functions.
I'm looking to balance efficiency with being human in this modern era, with all of its seductions. I've overindulged in life and also became a renunciate. I know the extremes. Now I know myself and favor the Middle Way, using wisdom to decide what I put on my fork or in my cup.
A beautiful rose in the Intent Sphere represents my aesthetic nature. This aspect of myself is becoming increasingly prominent at this season of my life.
After being a renunciate for so many years… I’ve begun collecting things again… the wondering crow has found a home… #nesting #crow
Like a fairytale dream… I’m enjoying the pleasures of the #body …it has become clear to me… how very very important our environment is… along with our relationship to it… #space is an extension of thy self…
For the Express and Refine Spheres… I am working with Numerology and Astrology…
I love a life of leisure as a creative director…
If I were a card… I’d be the Queen of Spades… and Ryan the King of Hearts… a conversation with Ryan last night prompted the direction of my next doodle…
First and foremost, my responsibility is to this body—to care for its experience in all ways. Sometimes that means indulgence, and sometimes renunciation, or rather a blend of the two, always situational.
For me, most everything has become intentional, or compulsive, some might say. But that’s a thought to validate why they are not maintaining the pace themselves; otherwise, they’d validate it as wellness.
With an “everything in place” mentality, I expect life to be messy, but like most life forms, I keep my space with the highest regard for energy—free and clear. This activity of tidiness is part of their daily being. Neatness is a social sign of strength. They mate based on how the “other” makes them feel, and their survival may depend on it.
I’ve always had a sense of aesthetics. No matter the reasons or how, I like framing things, compartmentalizing pieces, creating an arrangement or melody, so to speak. When my sphere is out of tune, so am I.
So, I come to my final sphere, the Observe Sphere, relating to Mind in this ‘know thy self’ mind map, holding the microscope. The imagery that came up for me when I answered the InQuiry QUESTions Note page… was my hair. The hAIR about me—my field or overall vibe that others feel when around me or thinking of me. Of course, it’s deeper than that, but the overall symbolism can be seen on thy crown.
The observation is that I have always identified the experiences of my personality in relation to my hair—the cut and style, the era of it. It has always been a statement in my mind. I have a personal relationship with hairdos, like a great friend that is not always agreeable but is always there for you.
To me, my hair is art …in addition its just a brushstroke in a much larger work of art: me, myself, and all of my chACTERistics. Hair is my crown’s jewels.
Thus this doodle…
Now for the completed Mind Map… ideally there will be a video to follow… stayed tuned…
